The cost of waiting

The most expensive bookkeeping mistake isn’t what you think.

It isn’t hiring the wrong bookkeeper. It’s doing nothing.

By the time tax season arrives, you’re not just paying for bookkeeping. You’re paying for catch-up work, your CPA’s extra hours, and the stress of not knowing whether your numbers are even accurate.

Clean books kept consistently cost less — in money, in time, and in the kind of surprises that derail a tax season.

A great fit

You run an established service business without inventory, want consistent monthly bookkeeping, and already work with — or plan to work with — a CPA or tax preparer.

Probably not the right fit

You need payroll, invoicing, bill pay, or tax preparation and planning. We would rather tell you that upfront.

Before you get started

Frequently asked questions.

Most service businesses do not need a complicated finance department. They need one thing done correctly, consistently and on time.

What does “tax-ready books” mean?

Your transactions are categorized, your accounts are reconciled, and your reports are organized — so your CPA gets reliable records rather than a mess to untangle.

What’s included — and what’s not?

We handle monthly bookkeeping only: categorization, reconciliation and reporting in QuickBooks Online. We do not provide tax preparation or tax advice, payroll, invoicing/accounts receivable, or bill pay. Those stay with your CPA or other specialists. With your authorization, we can work directly with your CPA.

Who actually does the bookkeeping?

Your bookkeeping is completed by QuickBooks Online-certified ProAdvisors selected for their bookkeeping expertise. Wendell Mc Collin, Diasporta’s founder, provides oversight of service delivery, processes and client experience.

Is my QuickBooks data safe?

We use QuickBooks Online’s built-in user access. Your password is never shared, and you can revoke access when needed.

What if my books are already behind?

This is common. We will assess how far behind you are and provide a separate catch-up quote based on the months, accounts, transaction volume and complexity before any catch-up work begins.

How is pricing determined?

Your plan is based on monthly transaction volume, number of accounts and overall complexity. If your volume spikes occasionally, we will work with you. If the increase becomes permanent, we may recommend moving to a different tier.

Do I have to sign a contract?

Yes. Engagements begin with an initial six-month term. After that, service continues month-to-month under the signed service agreement, and either party may end the engagement with 30 days’ notice. Your agreement clearly sets out scope, price, responsibilities and timing.

When will my books be done each month?

Your monthly deadline is set during onboarding based on when your statements and other required information are available.

How do I get started?

Book a free bookkeeping consultation. We will confirm fit, review your needs and give you a clear quote before you decide anything.

Clear books. Clear next step.
